"I have two adorable dogs named "Diesel" and "Hershey." Unfortunately, I've never been able to break them from urinating indoors. Training pads didn't work for us at all. We tried to take them outdoors to do their business regularly, but we still had spotty carpet as a result. We quickly learned that they were jumping off our beds in the middle of the night and relieving themselves, then returning to bed while we slept.  This led to us having to buy new carpet. It broke my heart, but after the new carpet was installed, I had no choice but to lock my dogs in my laundry room at night to keep them from destroying the new carpet. My dogs have always slept with me, so you can imagine the heartbreak for myself and my little babies!

Then one morning, out of a dead sleep, it came to me! "What if they had something to lift their legs on, on top of a training pad?"  I quickly got up and found some old cardboard and cut out a shape, just to test my theory. I took out a training pad that I had put away in a closet months earlier and affixed the cardboard to it. I placed the training pad on my patio and watched. Miraculously, one of my boys walked right up to it and proceeded to lift his leg on it! My heart skipped a beat, and I knew I had something here. So, I called up an attorney customer of mine and asked her to recommend a patent attorney. The rest is history!
